Imagine you are a bartender and you’re chatting with one of your regular (sometimes weirdo) customers. You’re usual small talk ensues but then you start to share with him (and gush a bit) about a super cute cop you met named Jason, while out on the town with your gal pals. He asks the basic questions like “what does he look like?” “where does he work?” and finally he weirdly guesses his last name?! Then imagine he tells you that this guy you’ve been so excited to talk about is his little brother! Well- that’s exactly what happened to Ashley! And the cop she was talking about? He’s now her hubby!
Ashley and Jason tied the knot in front of 120 of their closest family and friends at Murrieta’s Well in Livermore on Saturday, September 16th, 2017. It was a picturesque day and the sun was setting as the bride walked down the aisle for the most stunning golden light!
Ashley and I worked closely together to design and create all the stunning details to make her dream day come to life! The color palette was made up shades of mauve, blush and burgundy with pops of navy and gold! We wanted to bring some modern elements to their ultra-romantic wedding venue so we made sure to include geometric details and accents with clean lines. Shout out to another awesome hubby + wife duo, Zach & Rosalie, who captured their day beautifully! These cuties flew in from Missouri to capture the day and totally killed it:)!
The day came together in such a beautiful way. Ashley & Jason are absolutely the sweetest and their wedding was a reflection of their sincere love for one another! I hope you guys are just as in love with their gorgeous photos as I am! Thank you to the amazing team of vendors who brought this dream-day to life:).

Hello friends! Thanks so much out for stopping by to check out the #BrannanEventsBlog today! I am so excited to be sharing Bernadine and Zac’s wedding at Deer Park Villa:)!
Bernadine and Zac met at work! Now you might be thinking office romance but keep in mind they worked at the San Francisco airport and there are hundreds of people working there each and everyday. One day Zac heard this beautiful voice of the speaker system and he thought to himself “I have to meet her!” Eventually he tracked her down and after getting to know her asked her out on a date! They’ve been together ever since and tied the knot in-front of friends and family on June 17th, 2017. What a story book, happenchance meeting, am I right?!
When I first met Bernadine and Zac, we quickly bonded and while Bernadine wanted me as their wedding planner for my design eye, Zac was on board once he saw a picture of my dog Daisy on my website! Lol Needless to say that we had lots of fun throughout the design process and I even brought Daisy along to our linen design meetings at La Tavola Napa:)! Bernadine had always dreamed of a fairy-tale wedding she wanted to keep this story book theme present throughout the design! She opted for a subtle color palette of creams, grey, greenery and gold with pops of burgundy! It was such a stunning day and there were a ton of talented vendors that made this dream day a reality! Be sure to scroll all the way down to the bottom to take a peek at their wedding video! Enjoy! xoxo

I am so so excited to be sharing this amazing shoot with you all on the blog today and it was recently featured on Green Wedding Shoes so I’d definitely go check that out too:)! An absolutely amazing team of vendors came together to create an adventorous and free-spirited shoot! When I was designing this shoot I started brainstorming ideas with Kristine Herman, of Kristine Herman Photography! We knew we wanted something totally unique that an adventurous, free-spirited couple would absolutely fall in love with, so deciding on Yosemite seemed like a no-brainer! While we could have taken the shoot in a more ethereal direction, I wanted something a little more funky with a fresh color palette. I opted for a palette made up of melon, tangerine, french blue, and navy! The ceremony took place at glacier point where an amazing view of Half Dome took center stage. We kept the rest of the set-up simple (this is an elopement after all! lol) with fun bohemian rugs and a broken horseshoe floral arrangement created by the always talented Tumbleweed Floral Truck! Our reception was a low-seated table with a mix of fun poofs, multi-colored taper candles, and mix-match tea cups! We used acrylic place cards with non-traditional calligraphy, wicker accents, vintage china, and tie-dyed napkins to show how you can take a mix of styling elements to create something fresh! The invitation suite is one of my favorite design elements because Honey Brush Designs created all the art work, the liner pattern, as well as the calligraphy! The info card actually has thread stitched into it to create the border! It’s seriously so cool! With stunning portrait shots, a unique venue local, and all the bold styling elements, this is one of my favorite shoots I’ve ever done!
