Natalie + Jeff’s Livermore Vineyard Wedding

So I met Natalie back in 2011 at Saint Mary’s College when we began having Communication classes together! She was always so much fun to be around and we loved using study dates as excuse for catching up on life! I remember when she first started telling me about a guy named Jeff she had started seeing and was so fun hearing about their budding romance:). She would always light up when talking about what adventures they had gone on that past weekend! After graduating we kept up with each other through FaceBook and in 2015 Natalie and Jeff were engaged! I knew I had to be their wedding planner! Luckily they were in need of one, so it totally worked out! Natalie is such a sweetheart and Jeff is a blast so naturally, the planning process with them was so fun! Take a peek into all the love and laughs they had when they tied the knot on October 8th this past year! Enjoy!

Styled Spring Wedding Inspirtation

A Glamorous, Pantone Inspired Saint Patrick’s Day Wedding Soiree!

Hello + welcome to the #BrannanEventsBlog ! Today I am going to be sharing an absolutely stunning Spring Wedding Inspiration where we created a Saint Patrick’s Day Soiree! Enjoy:)!

When we were designing this St. Patty’s Day styled shoot, we wanted something that felt luxurious yet modern and trendy. It was fun to combine different textures and elements to delivery something really unique for any bride looking for a little design direction. With the Light House venue as our backdrop we created a vintage yet sophisticated wedding inspiration! Some of the stand outs were our ghost chairs and acrylic signage  that created a unique juxtaposition with our rich velvet fabrics, whimsical florals, and a deconstructed naked cake. We also added great dimension with geometric shapes and gold metallic pops! There were some subtle Saint Patrick’s Day elements we wanted to incorporate. We did that with our pantone inspired color palette, the artisan gift boxes, and a “Lucky in Love” banner for the bride and groom! We loved this shoot and know any bride will be able to find lots of inspiring content for her big day! A huge shout out to the amazing team of vendors that made this shoot come to life:)! Be sure to check out their work on their websites; all info is below!

How artful is this A-symmetrical bouquet from the talented Kaylia, of Tumbleweed Floral Truck ?!

Shannon, of Oxford Lettering Co., created this stunning invitation suite by hand with watercolor paints and gold ink:)!

Our models, Chelsea and Harrison, are also a real life couple so, naturally, their chemistry was amazing!

Kinsley James provided all the gowns for the shoot! Obsessed with this Galia Lahva dress!

Vintage rings are coming back in a big way! This was a real ring I found in my grandmother’s jewelry!

This velvet linen by Party Crush Studios pairs perfectly with the sweetheart table greenery garland! Don’t you feel like you just found the velvet pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?!

How rad is the gift box?! Box + Bow created this custom for a beer lover!

Adele, owner of MakeUp by Adele, created such a stunning and natural look for this inspiration!

Ma Petite Maison Cake Designs, steals my heart again with this deconstructed naked cake! The gold geo shapes are everything!

This view of the marina at The Lighthouse at Glenn Cove Marina is the perfect portrait spot! Anyone else dying over these palm trees?!

So obsessed with this bridal braid created by Tay C Styles !

How cool is this bar?!

Acrylic is in, in a big way this season! These place cards are perfect for any bride looking for something different! I loved designing these with Shannon!

I loved designing this table-scape! These Gold Beaded Chargers and Ghost Chairs were the perfect compliment to this look!

This Gatsby inspired runner by Party Crush Studios really made the table! And more acrylic, because why not?!

Fin! We hope you loved looking at this as much as all of us vendors loved putting it together!

White + Grey Office Makeover

Hey girl hey!

Welcome back to the #BrannanEventsBlog! Today is especially exciting for me because I have been waiting to share my home office make-over! My theme you ask? Well I’d call Modern Minimalism meets French Parisian meets Glamorous Lodge. I think that’s a typical theme right? What was so great about this remodel is that I was really able to re-purpose so many items I already had. It kept this makeover super budget friendly and it always feels good when you save money! Am I right?!

The office is broken up into two, yet distinct, areas! The first is meant for relaxation and leisure! We have champagne and a comfy lounging chair with a mini library of books. There is also a fun foosball table for a great little work break and if anyone is brave enough to challenge us, you gotta get over here! House Rules: (1) No Spins (2) Have Fun! The second side of the office is definitely more about work than play, but when you get to plan weddings for a living sometimes, you forget you’re working! On this side there is my Brannan Events board filled with inspiration, invitation suites, and love notes! It always gives me that extra kick when I’m feeling tired or lacking inspiration:)

I loved designing and putting together this space and was able to realize my visions on a small budget! Throughout the space there is the white, dove grey and gold color scheme which is super dreamy! From there I played around with different pieces like a gold pineapple, because pineapples are a universal symbol of welcoming. I used my grandmothers’ mirror which is such a wonderful statement piece in the room! I painted some old chivaris white and rather than getting a new desk lamp, I just updated the shade. The desk was a great buy from Ikea and lots of my other accents are from HomeGoods. Anyone else feel like HomeGoods was specifically made for you?! It’s one of my favorite places to hit up for inexpensive home, office and wedding items!

Without further ado, let’s check this bad boy out!

A nice crisp and refreshing space to dig in, and get some work done!

In these pictures, I’m loving a lot more than just these two cuties! I’m absolutely obsessed with the texture of this faux fur rug from Costco! One of my favorite things about it? It calls for a no shoes at work policy haha:)

Linen swatches make me happy!

I LOVE all the space my desk gives me with the extra pull out to my right! Perfect for spreading out!

All these goodies are a mix of Target and HomeGoods and the plants from a local market!

I’ve recently been learning about photography! Why not, right?! So I’ve been working with my T5i cannon with my 50mm + 18-55mm lenses to take photos of the pups and my work! This post was shot by me (other than the photos of myself which were shot by Michael:)! This was an old family camera and I thought it made for fun inspiration!

We have two little built-ins with books and the comfiest grandpa chair ever! This literally is my grandpa’s chair and it’s super relaxing, which makes for an excellent reading nook:) The gauze runner is courtesy of good friend Jeanette owner of Party Crush Studio !

A little light reading if you are looking for your wedding venue:)!

This amazing mirror is so cool and when I’m feeling stressed my gal pal Shannon over at Oxford Lettering Co. reminds me treat myself :)!

My board of pictures, invites, thank you notes and inspiration! The “Brannan Events” cut out is by my friend at The Blushing Script !

Our fun “helping you tie the knot” hair ties from Elastic Hair Bandz! I also love this lamp because I actually purchased the base 4 or 5 years ago and only replaced the shade to give it a whole new look!

Thanks so much for taking a tour with me! We’d love to have your consultation or next planning meeting here, so email us to schedule your appointment! Also, don’t forget to subscribe to our email list for more inspiring and valuable wedding planning content!
