It’s true what they say, Virginia is for lovers! Michael and I traveled across the country to be a part of my cousin’s wedding, and it was such a blast! My cousin, Alexandra, and I are only a few years a part so we were raised together:) From a young age, our parents forced us to wear way too many matching outfits and then took embarrassing photos so we could look back on those memories fondly lol. We also shared a room for a while in high school, so needles to say, it made us even closer! (Proximity and our bond lol)
Alex and, her now husband, Ben live in Indianapolis but Ben’s sister has a beautiful property out in Virginia so that’s where they decided to get hitched! I was able to help her coordinate their vendors from a distance and was also lucky enough to be in their bridal party!!
For this wedding we were lucky enough to work with an amazing Virginia wife + husband photography team! They love to travel and shoot destination weddings so definitely check out their website! Michael & Jasmine Photography
The couple opted for a spring color palette of lavender, sage and ivory! The bridesmaids got their dresses bright lavender dresses through Union Station, which was super convenient! Fun Spring florals gave the bride the fresh-picked, wildflower bouquet look she was going for! We ate BBQ, sipped on cocktails and played lawn games the whole night:) It was relaxed and a ton of fun! We loved being apart of this wedding and hope you will enjoy the pictures!
With less than a week before our anniversary, I wanted to share the photos of our anniversary shoot! I can’t believe it’s been a year since we tied the knot:) and we wanted to celebrate by taking some new photos with our adorable fur children at our home in the East Bay! When I was designing this shoot I wanted it to be full of spring and summer inspiration! We used a fresh and funky color palette made up of dusty blue and varying shades of magenta and pink. Kaylia of Tumbleweed Floral Truck, created overflowing and whimsical arrangements. Danielle of Danielle Poff Photography captured everything in such a dreamy way!
This year has seriously flown by and I feel so lucky to have such a supportive partner by my side! I hope you enjoy taking a look at mine and Michael’s photos (as well as some behind the scenes shots with our amazing assistant, America)!
Check out all the talented vendors who participated in the shoot!

This wedding is near and dear to my heart because it was the wedding of my mother and her new husband, Newell! The wedding was actually hosted in our backyard in the East Bay:)! When we first started planning, she knew she wanted something tropical and reminiscent of Hawaii! We added a ton of tropical elements It was so fun getting to design this beautiful day with my amazing mother! It was gorgeous and intimate, filled with old friends, new family and lots of love!
