Kristine (an amazing film wedding photographer) and her partner Zach love to travel so when it came to planning their wedding they knew they wanted to take their guests with them on an adventure! With that in mind they chose to tie the knot in one of their favorite destinations, Italy! The setting was so romantic and gave guests an appreciation for the present while making them feel connected to the past. As this was an intimate celebration of just under 40 guests the wedding day was nestled in between days of exploration, friendship, and delicious food. Their ceremony was cradled in between the entrance of the Villa and the guest house and this nook of the property stunned at every angle. But what stood out the most were Kristine and Zach’s vows. It was beautiful and unforgettable. We worked with local growers and chefs to create their deliciously epic meal and we let the natural setting take lead on leading the design aesthetic. The rich red ivy, the popping orange roses, and the craftwork behind the stone villa made accenting it effortless. We used natural textures and pops of rust, orange, mauve, yellow and dusty blue to round out the palette. The perfect night wrapped with a dance party in the Villa!
